Shipping, Handling & Insurance
Where practical, items may not be individually packaged or labeled. Items that are similar in appearance will be packaged or bagged separately. Electronic components may be bulk-packaged or taped.
All shipping is by USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail. Except for very heavy items, Priority Mail is more cost effective because it allows us to streamline shipping. If you wish to use your own shipping carrier, please contact us.
USA: We ship to US destinations, including APO/FPO destinations, if they have a Zip Code. Some articles are restricted from shipping to APO/FPO addresses. The item description will indicate this, and you will not be able to complete checkout if you are attempting to ship restricted or prohibited items to APO/FPO addresses.
Australia, Canada and Western Europe We ship to these destinations with First Class Mail International and Priority Mail International.
We ship to Other Worldwide destinations on request, please contact us before placing your order.
The shipping cost is shown in the cart, and is calculated based on weight, destination and shipping method, with an allowance made for packaging material and handling. The weight shown in the cart during checkout may exceed the actual weight of the shipment, and shipping charges will always be calculated based on the weight shown.
All Priority Mail shipments will be tracked with Delivery Confirmation, which provides confirmation of delivery (but only limited tracking during transit). Most 1st Class Mail packages are also tracked with Delivery Confirmation.
Insurance is optional, up to US$5000 or the value of the items on order, whichever is less. Insurance is provided through Endicia; please review the terms and details.
Insurance does not cover the cost of the insurance itself, or the handling portion of the shipping and handling costs. You are required to assist us and the insurance provider when making claims against the insurance.
We do not ship partial orders. If items on your order are out of stock, we will notify you by email. You may either cancel the order in it's entirety, or you may remove the out-of-stock items from the order (and we will refund accordingly), or you may hold the order until all items are in stock.
